shazzerwise@livejournal.com BioI'm a vidder, a reader, a film geek and a film snob (yes, you can be both). I'm addicted to "General Hospital" and "House". I love Brit Chick Lit (Jane Green, Sophie Kinsella) and the Queen Mother to whom all those ladies owe their livelihoods: Jane Austen.
I particularly love silent cinema. Buster Keaton is my comedy god. I love found-footage experimental films, and Guy Maddin rocks my socks.
The first time I saw "Lawrence of Arabia" on the big screen, I thought my friend was going to have to carry me home in a bucket.
I hate instructions and prefer to learn by doing, which means it generally takes me twice as long as a normal human to figure something out.
I love Nightcrawler.
My cat's name is Lucy. She's a pain in the ass, and I love her. She recently acquired a little stray sister, Pepper. Pepper is an odd duck, and Lucy doesn't quite know what to do with her.
I believe there is a "Simpsons" quote to fit any given human situation.
